Following an MOT failure my car required investigation to establish the cause and clarify warranty cover.

My case was eventually referred to one of MotorEasy’s service engineers. From that point on my case was dealt with expertly. She liaised with the dealer to ensure the necessary warranty work was completed, and kept me informed of progress throughout. This was particularly important for me as there were some errors at the dealer’s end which meant my car was away for 5 days instead of 2. She also ensured that payment for the completed warranty work was made without delay. You only know how good an insurance or warranty company is when things go wrong, as that is when you find out whether the people employed to help your case are as good as the marketing that persuaded you to buy the product in the first place.

In my experience, my engineer’s support most definitely lived up to those expectations, and thanks to her I would happily recommend the MotorEasy warranty product.

Convenient & cost effective servicing & MOTs

I have been using MotorEasy for just over 12months for their servicing and MOT arrangement facility which I find to be very convenient and cost effective.

For example this year although my car has only covered approx 25k in the six years from new I will need a new cambelt fitted (6 years or 72k miles) and the price I have been quoted for the full service, which includes cambelt replacement is just under £320 ! As the standard quote for cambelt replacement alone is in the region of £350 - £400 it’s a no brainer and my car was collected from my home and returned at no extra cost, this is particularly convenient in a one car household. Also recently I used MotorEasy to arrange my MOT for me, this was only £30, car was collected and returned again at no additional cost and I was contacted by MotorEasy regarding a tyre fault, which I was already aware of, but did not constitute an MOT failure condition but would need a replacement tyre at some point in the near future (a nail was imbedded in the shoulder of the tyre and given its position was not repairable).

Motoreasy were able to get the tyre replaced at a discount (cheaper than I would have been able to get for a Firestone tyre) at the same time as the MOT was being carried out. So all in all I cannot fault the service and will continue to use it.

Great company and fantastic customer service

Having had the misfortune of suffering a major air con failure I had the reassurance of my warranty, however was a bit apprehensive as I’d never claimed before.

After logging the initial diagnosis (which was very easy) I found myself in contact with one of the engineers from the Service and Repair Department. She has been absolutely fantastic, really helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel like a valued customer. She reassured me that MotorEasy would do their utmost to help fix my problem and I put my faith in her. She and MotorEasy have done everything they have promised and kept me informed along the way via email, sms and phone, this was fantastic and confirmed everything was in hand.

A brilliant service all round and I would recommend MotorEasy without hesitation. Keep up the great work!

Would you expect a warranty company to pay for a repair where there was no evidence to prove a fault?! Well MotorEasy did.

My car had an annoying fault you could feel the car jolt and hesitate on acceleration yet via diagnosis there was no evidence, nothing whatsoever to prove that a problem existed. This went on for many weeks. The MotorEasy approved garage could not find a fault had nothing whatsoever to work with, but had a theory. They explained this theory to the MotorEasy repair person and surprisingly the answer came back that if the theory proved correct and the problem was solved they would honour the claim, if it didn't quite rightly they would not go any further with it, which is understandable. I had to consent for the repair to be undertaken based on the understanding that I would be liable for all repairs if unsuccessful but the claim would be honoured if the repair was successful. I agreed and the work was done. My garage called MotorEasy to confirm the fault had gone, therefore their theory was correct and MotorEasy paid the bill directly.

I cannot fault the service and will again due to my experience be looking to renew my warranty.

My car broke down yesterday. I immediately called MotorEasy the next morning to book me into a workshop to get my car fully checked. Booking process was very easy, no hassle. Arrived at the garage, told me that I need my timing chain repaired. All the necessary phone calls/paperwork are fortunately done efficiently by MotorEasy. Once the garage quote has been assessed, the garage was given the green light to start repairing. Very simple convenient process. I was glad that I didn’t have to deal with anything as it saves me so much stress and time.

After experiencing a failure in my MOT test due to brake cylinder leaking and consequential damage to brake shoes I called MotorEasy who I have my warranty with. The engineers have been very helpful and efficient in ensuring my claim was handled immediately and a decision given the same day. I cannot recommend MotorEasy for warranty enough they are a fantastic company with fantastic, knowledgeable and extremely helpful staff.

I have a VW Polo and when the warranty expired 3 years ago I decided to shop around for extended warranty. MotorEasy offered the best deals and a very reasonable rate. To-date I had a problem with my car and its MOT. I spoke to a very helpful and caring person who assisted me to a standard you rarely get from other warranty companies. Not only was she reassuring, but she answered every question I asked to an extremely high standard and helped me in getting my car back on the road and saving me a large amount of money. She also called back well before the agreed time. I would recommend Motoreasy to everyone. The customer service is amazing. Very easy process all questions and concerns answered promptly. Nothing was a problem, my engineer was a great help and helped set up the account and get the policy in place ASAP.

Bought three protection plans Gap insurance, alloy wheel and scratch and dent insurance was offered a discount for by all three policies at the same time which was great. I had shopped around but found MotorEasy offered the best cover and price. Would recommend them.

Customer services came over very polite and there was no rush to end my calls. Was quoted hundreds of pounds more on a warranty from other companies. I’ve never had GAP insurance before, I’d never heard of it, but once I did, I felt I had to get it. Not because I was pressured in anyway but for my own peace of mind. So I therefore decided after years of driving and never having GAP insurance to purchase it. I picked MotorEasy as their website is fabulous it gives all the information about your car you’ve purchased and if like me, not purchased my car from new, it gives me all previous information about the car, when MOT is due, service etc. All good thankfully, but good to see.

I was pleased with the level of service I received. The GAP insurance is defaqto 5 star rated. The lady who phoned me back clearly explained what was covered if anything was wrong. The level of cover and the price is a lot cheaper than what car dealers try to sell. Never buy GAP insurance from car dealers as it’s three times more expensive.

Very happy so far

We are new customers to MotorEasy and so far we are very happy with our vehicle warranty and GAP insurance deal. Their sales and customer service lady has been excellent and has answered every question we have thrown at her. Prices are very competitive and their repairs policy includes more faults covered than their rivals. We read reviews on many companies selling the same service and they were better with MotorEasy than the ‘big name’ companies. A free health check is arranged when purchasing a policy which gave us some peace of mind as we had just purchased a 3 year old car from a dealership which only came with a one month warranty. That gave us the opportunity to make the dealership fix any problems first. So, yes we are happy to recommend MotorEasy.

I got my car MOT through motoreasy.com last Saturday. I was in a new place and didn't know which MOT centre to choose. I looked up google and stumbled upon the motoreasy.com website. That was really lucky thing because it made the whole process so much easy. Registration was very simple and done within a minute. The booking tool was very simple and easy. Best part was that they will select the best performing garage using their data. The option of free collection and drop off was most helpful. I used to carry my bicycle on the car to MOT centre and come back cycling and return to collect the car when MOT was completed. Collection from home made it all unnecessary. I was in the comfort of my home relaxing my weekend off and within two hours I got a text message and email of MOT test pass. The car was returned in a few minutes. I can't think of making the process any easier or better. I recommend MotorEasy to everyone now. I posted about it on Facebook, told all my friends about it. It seemed to me like one of those things that it has achieved is making life better for everyone. I will now use MotorEasy for any future repairs as well.

This was a very straightforward and easy process to get the confidence of a vehicle warranty.
I phoned in my enquiry about seeking a warranty and was helped by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable member of the team who answered all my questions. There was never any pressure to sign up immediately, which I appreciated and I was also informed that I had a 14 cooling off period in case I changed my mind.

I was helped to make my application over the phone, which I did not want to commence until my current policy with another company had run out.

This policy is so much better than my existing one and I wish I had used MotorEasy from the start.
